CAT6A Slim Shielded Ethernet Patch Cable - U/FTP

Shielded Cat6A usually means thick, stiff cable. This one is 4.8 mm. Each of the four pairs is wrapped in its own foil shield (U/FTP) to block EMI/RFI and crosstalk. The 28 AWG stranded copper conductors keep the cable thin and flexible enough to dress cleanly into dense patch panels and top-of-rack switches. Less cable bulk means better airflow, easier tracing, and ports you can reach.

The cable is rated for 10G Ethernet and meets or exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A. It is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e equipment.

It suits data center and server rack patching, network closets near electrical panels or UPS gear, industrial and manufacturing floors, AV and broadcast racks, and any dense patch field that needs both shielding and room to breathe.

Good to Know

Shielding only works when it's grounded. Use this cable with shielded jacks, patch panels, and switch ports so the shield has a continuous path to ground. Like all 28 AWG cords, it's built for patching inside the rack and at the work area. It is not a replacement for permanent horizontal runs.
