Good to Know

Measure the pole before ordering: the straps adjust from 5 to 7-1/2 in, and a pole outside that range needs a different strap. The straps are for a metal pole; a wood pole takes lag screws through the box's wall-mount holes instead. Mount the box with its cable entries down and a drip loop in each cable so the pole-mount doesn't undo the box's weather sealing, tighten both straps evenly so the box sits flat against the pole and the cover still opens fully, and don't overtighten a strap on a plastic enclosure. Two straps mount one box; order a pack per box.
