This is a duplex LC/PC fiber adapter for multimode, the beige coupler that joins two pairs of LC connectors end to end through a panel, with the transmit and receive fibers side by side. It's flangeless: a low-profile plastic housing with no mounting ears, in the standard LC duplex footprint, that clips into the cutout on a patch panel, LGX plate, fiber distribution unit, or wall-mount enclosure built for flangeless adapters. Each port has a phosphor bronze alignment sleeve, which is the usual multimode sleeve, and the housing is beige, which is the color code for multimode. It takes LC/PC connectors on multimode fiber. It comes with plastic clips and dust caps, it's RoHS compliant, and it's sold individually. Where It Fits

It suits a data center or a telecom room where a multimode backbone is spliced to LC pigtails in the tray behind a panel and the plate takes flangeless adapters, so a worn one comes out and a new one clips in. It suits a plastic fiber distribution unit or a high-density enclosure where the flangeless footprint packs more LC pairs across a plate than a flanged adapter would. Installers loading a flangeless LGX plate port by port on an OM1 or OM3 plant use it, and so do techs replacing a cracked adapter in an existing LC panel without touching the plate. A campus LAN or a SAN on OM3 or OM4 in a crowded rack is a candidate. It goes with the multimode LC patch cords from the fiber patch cable collection, with the LC pigtails, adapter plates, and keystones from the fiber panel collection, and with the rack-mount and wall-mount enclosures. Good to Know

Flangeless or flanged is the first check: a flangeless adapter is held by clips through a cutout sized for its body, and it won't stay in a plate stamped for a flanged adapter, which has a larger opening and screw holes for the ears, so match the adapter to the plate before you order a quantity. The adapter doesn't care which multimode grade is on either side, which means it will happily mate an orange 62.5 µm OM1 cord to an aqua 50 µm OM3 pigtail, with the core mismatch loss landing at the adapter; keep the cords, the pigtails, and the plant all one grade, and let the jacket color be the cue. Beige is the multimode color, and the phosphor bronze sleeve is a multimode part; a single-mode plant wants the blue FOS-LCU-D with its ceramic sleeve, since a 9 µm core needs a tighter sleeve than this one holds. It's PC, with a flat end-face, for the beige or aqua LC connector on every SFP, SFP+, and multimode cord; a green LC/APC connector has an 8° angle and doesn't mate with it. Keep the A and B fibers in the right positions on both sides so the duplex polarity comes out as the as-built says. Clean and inspect every ferrule before it goes in, and leave the dust caps in any port without a cord. Don't look into an open port on a live link. It usually ships in 1 to 2 business days.
