FTTH Prep Kit with Power Meter (TK-185)

Everything you need for fiber-to-the-home installations in one rugged, portable case. The TK-185 combines precision prep tools, cleaning supplies, fault detection, and a high-accuracy power meter to streamline every step of connector terminations and network verification.

Precision Prep & Cleaning

• Three-Hole Stripper (JIC-375): Simultaneously removes 1.6–3 mm jackets, 600–900 µm buffers, and 250 µm coatings, exposing the 125 µm glass core without nicking.
• Precision Cleaver (FC-500): Delivers perfect cleaves on 900 µm buffered or 250 µm coated fibers—ideal for mechanical splicing and fast field terminations.
• Connector Cleaner (FCC-250): Tool-free cleaning for 2.5 mm ferrules in FC, SC, and ST connectors.
• Wet & Dry Wipes (DW-90 & FW-5): Lint-free, 91% isopropyl-prep wipes and dry cloths for spotless end-face cleaning.

Fault Detection & Measurement

• Visual Fault Locator (VFL-150): Bright red laser pinpoints breaks, leaks, and poor connections along the fiber.
• Power Meter (FPM-50A): Measures –50 to +26 dBm with FC/SC/LC adapters for BPON, GPON, and other FTTH networks.

Cable Preparation & Support

• Drop Cable Stripper (FDS-312): Longitudinally slits 2.1 × 3.1 mm drop cables for mid-span access.
• Kevlar® Shears (JIC-186): Cuts aramid strength members, insulation, tape, and zip ties with minimal effort.
• Fiber Scrap Can (FDC-66): Safely collects and contains trimmed fiber shards.
