The Jonard Tools FDC-66 is the small, lightweight can that gives those scraps somewhere to go: keep it open next to the cleaver, drop each scrap in the moment it's cut, and twist the lid closed to lock the scraps inside for safe disposal. Good to Know

Drop the scrap in as soon as the cleaver releases it, before it gets set down "for a second"; a scrap on the mat is a scrap you'll be looking for later. Keep the can open and within reach of the cleaver while you work, and twist the lid closed before the can goes back in the bag or the kit. Bare fiber is glass and doesn't dissolve, so a full can goes into a sealed container or a sharps bin, not the open trash; empty it over the bin rather than tipping it into a hand. The body is paperboard, so keep it away from the alcohol wipes and don't let it get soaked; a 2 oz can is cheap enough to replace when it's worn. The can is for fiber scraps and the used wipes that go with them, not for liquids or for anything that needs a sealed sharps container by regulation; check the local rule if you're working in a hospital or a plant.
