Most CATV service work is RG59 and RG6, short and long F connectors, and the same five steps at every address: cut, strip, compress, torque, test. The Jonard Tools TK-78 COAX Tool Kit is a complete service kit for that work, built around the CTF-180 360° Compression Tool, which supports an F connector all the way around and compresses short and long connectors on RG59 and RG6 to their fixed lengths with nothing to adjust. The UST-125 stripper preps RG59, RG6, RG7, and RG11; the TWAF-71630 full-head 7/16 in torque wrench tightens every connector to 30 in-lb and no further; the PT-300 pocket tester checks continuity, tones a cable for tracing, and detects voltage before you touch a line; and 8 in high leverage diagonal cutters, a 6-in-1 multi-bit screwdriver, and an LED zoom flashlight cover the cutting, driving, and seeing. Good to Know

The order of work is the order of the pouch: check the line for voltage with the PT-300 before cutting anything, since a drop can carry power to an amplifier, then cut, strip to the connector maker's dimensions with the UST-125, compress with the CTF-180, and finish with the torque wrench rather than pliers, because a 7/16 in F connector tightened past 30 in-lb strips the port and one left finger-tight lets water in. The CTF-180 handles short and long F connectors on RG59 and RG6 at their fixed lengths; it isn't for RG11 connectors, which is what the TK-87's CTF-230 adds, so a kit buyer with RG11 on the route should look there. A finished connector should have a fully driven sleeve with no gap, a straight center conductor standing proud of the face by the maker's dimension, and no play on the cable; one that compressed with no resistance usually means the cable wasn't pushed in far enough. The PT-300 checks continuity and finds a cable with its tone; it isn't a signal level meter, and a line that passes continuity can still be out of spec. The diagonal cutters are for cable and wire, not screws or steel strand. Keep the strip dimensions card for the connectors you use in the pouch; the tools are fixed, so the prep is what varies between connector brands.
