CAT6 No Boot Ethernet Patch Cable - Unshielded

No boot, no bulk. A bare RJ45 plug is as narrow as the port it goes into, so these cords sit side by side across a full patch panel without crowding each other, and the latch is right there under your thumb when you need to pull one. It's the plain Cat6 jumper for racks, desktop switches, and lab benches, with the headroom for 2.5G and 5G links and for 10G over short runs.

The 24 AWG stranded copper conductors keep it flexible. It meets Category 6 and works with Cat5e and Cat6A equipment.

Features

• Non-booted RJ45 plugs. With nothing around the plug, cords fit in adjacent ports on the densest panels, and the latch is easy to reach. Contacts are gold-plated for corrosion resistance.
• Gigabit and multi-gig rated. It runs 10/100/1000 Mbps, 2.5G, and 5G links, and 10GBase-T over short patch runs.
• 24 AWG stranded bare copper. Full-gauge conductors with no copper-clad aluminum, and the stranding keeps it flexible.
• Unshielded (UTP). No shield means no grounding to worry about and an easy cable to route.
• Flexible PVC jacket. At 5.4 mm it's a little slimmer than most Cat6 cord. The cable is RoHS compliant.
• T568B wiring. It comes in 0.5 to 100 ft lengths and nine colors for color-coding your network.

Where It Fits

It suits patch panel to switch jumpers, dense rack installations, desktop switches and lab benches, workstations, VoIP phones and PoE devices, and short 10G jumpers between equipment in the same rack.

Good to Know

There's no boot to protect the latch, so this cord is best where it gets plugged in and left alone. For cables that get moved often or pulled through bundles, choose a snagless booted cord. Cat6 carries 10G over short distances only; if you need 10G on a longer channel, use Cat6A.
