CAT6A Snagless Ethernet Patch Cable - Unshielded

This is the standard-gauge Cat6A patch cord. The 24 AWG stranded copper conductors have lower resistance than the 28 AWG slim cords, which is what you want on longer patch runs and on links carrying PoE. For a workstation drop, a NAS on the desk, a switch uplink, or a 50-foot run across the room, this is the cable you reach for when you don't have a reason to go slim.

It is rated for 10G Ethernet and meets or exceeds ANSI/TIA Category 6A, and it works with Cat6 and Cat5e equipment.

Features

• 24 AWG stranded bare copper. Full-gauge conductors for the least loss and the most headroom on longer patch runs. It contains no copper-clad aluminum.
• 10GBase-T rated. It also runs 5G, 2.5G, and 1G links.
• Unshielded (UTP). No shield means no grounding to worry about, and the cable stays flexible and easy to route.
• Molded snagless strain-relief boot. It protects the latch when you pull cable through a bundle or behind a desk.
• Gold-plated RJ45 contacts. They resist corrosion for a reliable connection.
• Flexible PVC jacket. The cable is RoHS compliant.
• T568B wiring. It comes in 1 to 50 ft lengths and nine colors for color-coding your network.

Where It Fits

It suits workstation and desk connections, NAS and home server links, switch-to-switch and server-to-switch patching in the rack, PoE devices like cameras and access points, and any 10G link where you have the room for a full-size cable.

Good to Know

Because it's unshielded, keep it away from motors, welders, and high-voltage gear; use a shielded cord there. If you're packing a high-density patch panel and airflow matters more than run length, look at the slim 28 AWG version of this cable instead.
